Search Firm Selected
After careful consideration, WittKieffer has been retained as the University's search firm. WittKieffer, a Chicago-based executive search firm exclusively dedicated to serving the higher education and non-profit sectors, will help support a thoughtful and thorough search process that deeply engages the entire University community. Zach Smith, Ph.D., Jim King, Christine Pendleton, and Melody Rose, Ph.D. will serve as principals from WittKieffer.
At the upcoming Board of Regents meeting, Regents will discuss key leadership characteristics for the next president. That meeting will be held on Friday, September 8 at 9 a.m. in the Boardroom, 600 McNamara Alumni Center, 200 SE Oak Street, Minneapolis, MN, 55455. A live stream is available via regents.umn.edu.
Presidential Search Launched
This is a consequential moment for our institution and we look forward to finding a visionary, dynamic, and inclusive leader to propel the University forward.
A search advisory committee, chaired by Regent Mary Davenport, will be built to reflect the University’s breadth and diversity while balancing the number of members with the need to fulfill its charge in a timely manner.
