Search committee engages with community for input on position profile

The Presidential Search Advisory Committee (PSAC) has completed the position profile and it will now be taken up by the Board for approval on Thursday, November 2. The profile was developed based on input from the Board, the University community, and other constituents.

Input was gathered via open listening sessions held on each campus and by tabling in high-traffic student areas. PSAC met with the Twin Cities Deans Council, the University Retirees Association, and attendees at the Provost’s Campus Leadership Forum. Input was shared over zoom from the Senate Consultative Committee, the Foundation Board of Trustees, alumni around the globe in a session organized by the Alumni Association, and Registered Student Governance Associations. PSAC leadership met individually with a number of constituents, including each Regent, with each chancellor, other senior leaders, and key legislative leaders.

The Presidential Search Advisory Committee also took into consideration over 180 comments received through the Board’s Virtual Forum, emails to [email protected], written comment cards, and other online feedback. Collectively, PSAC engaged more than 600 people.
